Al Hambra Hotel - Luxor

The hotel was conveniently located near main attractions, allowing us to easily explore. We experienced some issues with a cabinet drawer continuously opening in our simple room.

The staff were more than helpful this whole time. The location was absolutely perfect - only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

The terrace view was amazing, especially during sunrise. Loved the walk to the nearby ferry port too!

Excellent location, fairly clean hotel, air conditioned rooms. The rooms with 1 bed less and WiFi, for instance. Good service throughout my stay. Early check-in. Location just next door to Al Hambra, Luxor museum, and the touristic places. Great food in the restaurants such as Elnakhil, located 10 min away.

The hotel is fine with its beautifully decorated interiors and a majestic courtyard that stands out. I was struck by how clean and spacious the room felt. The staff were really nice. Their hospitality was really good. Mohamed and his team not only provided helpful service but were also proactive in offering tours and local insights. I particularly loved that they arranged a lovely lunch for me, delicious and very affordable. The outdoor areas were perfect. On the downside, I found the breakfast a bit underwhelming, lacking variety and not meeting my expectations for a nice start to the day. I could have used more amenities in the room. It felt a bit basic with limited storage space. It was lovely, but a few improvements could make it even better.

The hotel is well-located, great to easily visit the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Horse riding was a fun adventure too! I highly recommend the local tours. They were affordable and well arranged by the staff.

One issue we faced was some confusion with our pickup arrangements once at the airport. It took a bit longer than expected to sort out, but the host was very apologetic.

Amazing place with great amenities like air conditioning, wi-fi, and a snack bar. On my first stay, the staff helped me with currency exchange recommendations. The friendly atmosphere makes it feel like home. I'm coming back for a holiday!

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, with very clean rooms with air conditioning and spacious layouts that provided a comfortable stay after a full day exploring the nearby attractions.

The room was spacious, but the AC made the night uncomfortably cold.

The rooms fine-looking, clean, and spacious enough for solo travelers. Outdoor seating areas provide lovely spots for enjoying coffee or contemplating the beautiful surroundings after a day of exploring.

The shower water tends to clog frequently, which might not be every guest's cup of tea. Breakfast falls flat, not varying much day-to-day, and there's a noticeable lack of amenities. No water bottles are provided, and items like a hot kettle are on a short leash. The rooms feel dated, with dim lighting giving a more neglected vibe instead of a cozy one.

Great Location:** This place is perfectly situated near several amazing temples. It's also close to a ferry port in a somewhat quiet and picturesque area. 🏞️

Great spot, just a stone's throw from Pharaoh's Stables - I really liked it here. It's in a quiet part of town. 🏞️
